Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes repainting the bridge, starting on Wednesday. Work will be carried out from 7am to 5pm on weekdays and is expected to be complete in up to 12 weeks, weather permitting.
IN THE NEWS
Temporary traffic signals and traffic barriers will be in place while work is carried out and the signals will operate outside of work hours, with traffic control in place during work hours.
The bridge, which crosses the Paterson River, will continue to operate while work is carried out with a single lane, alternate flow, and intermittent closures of up to 15 minutes. Motorists may experience short delays at times when the bridge is operating under traffic control.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
