The under 15s will compete against the best teams in the state in Division 1, while the under 17s will compete in Division 2.
"We're very proud of the under 15s ... it's been a fantastic effort, and quite a few years since we've had a team compete in Division 1," Maitland Netball president Kim Starkey said.
"They'll be tested, but hopefully they can pick up a few wins over the three days.
"The under 17s should put up a pretty good showing in Division 2."
With no championships held last year due to COVID, the teams qualified on the back of their 2019 performances.
HOCKEY YOUTH POLICY PAYING OFF
It's a young side, and lacking the consistency they'd like, but there's a lot to like about the way the Maitland A Grade men's team is shaping up.
Sitting mid-table at the half-way mark in the season, the Rams have blooded some outstanding young talent this season and they are starting to be rewarded.
Maitland recently claimed a huge scalp when they beat the perennial powerhouse Norths 2-1, and last weekend were unlucky in going down 4-2 to table topping Gosford in Gosford. It was a scoreline that flattered Gosford.
The club also has a couple of players representing Newcastle in the State Under 20 Championships.
The men's competition will resume on June 19.
