Kurri Kurri-raised country music star Kirsty Lee Akers and her husband Jesse Anderson will be contestants on the renovating show, which is set to air on Channel Nine later this year.
The high school sweethearts, both 32, married in 2014 and now live at Wangi Wangi.
Akers has posted many photos of the couple renovating on her social media accounts, including a cute throwback to their first-ever house, which they bought when they were 18 years old.
Kirsty and Jesse will be among five teams this season, which will be a 'Fans vs Faves' format.
They will join identical twins Luke and Josh, who appeared on Love Island 2019, and Melbourne parents Tanya and Vito as the 'Fans' teams, up against returning favourites Ronnie and Georgia (from the 2017 Elsternwick series) and Mitch and Mark (The Oslo, 2019).
The series takes place in Bronte Court, a cul de sac in the bayside Melbourne suburb of Hampton.
Scott Cam is back as the host for the 15th time and hinted it's going to be big.
"Expect the unexpected," he said in a statement.
"This build was extremely tough to plan and work out where things would go for many of our contestants because of this new twist.
"The plans have been thrown out the window and it leads to plenty of stuff-ups. This will be a dramatic showdown like we have never seen before."
It's been a whirlwind year for Akers who, in January, won vocal collaboration of the year with Aleyce Simmonds, Amber Lawrence and Dianna Corcoran for their rendition of John Williamson's True Blue, dedicated to Australia's frontline medical workers.
