Davidson had wins with Evil Eyes and Mighty Missile on the nine-race card.
Evil Eyes, a $15 chance, started well from box seven in the second race, over 565-metre, to catch an early break on the field and $1.30 favourite Zipping Riley.
Starting from the four, the Jason Mackay-trained Zipping Riley was shooting for a fourth consecutive win but was slow away then checked.
Zipping Riley powered home from midfield but Evil Eyes hung on for a two-length victory - just her fourth in 44 starts - in 32.35 seconds.
Mighty Missile ($3.70) was much more fancied and lived up to expectations in the fifth, a heat of the 400m 1-4 wins series.
From box three, Mighty Missile was clearly the best away and opened up a handy lead before beating Imogen Rose ($3.30) by two lengths in 22.35. It was his second win in 11 starts.
Mr Doo (Darryl Wilson) and Barcia Quality (Darryl Thomas) were the other heat winners. Pretty Boy Do gave Wilson a double, winning the seventh. The Mackay-trained Zipping Maserati made it four wins in five starts, taking out the sixth (450m) in a slick 24.92.
