Man dies in suspected shooting at Vic home
A man has died in an apparent shooting outside a property in northern Victoria, sparking a murder investigation.

The man went to check a noise outside his property at Numurkah, a small town north of Shepparton, on Thursday night before a suspected gunshot was heard.
He was discovered injured and later died at the scene.
Homicide squad detectives are working to establish the circumstances of his death.
