Without regular visitors, resources are stretched and the zoo is calling out to the community.
So the zoo is offering people the chance to pre-purchase 'care packages' which include admissions and park credit.
Australian Wildlife Parks managing director Chad Staples said the same costs existed despite the zoo being closed because of coronavirus pandemic restrictions.
"The care packages help us out now because our costs don't change," he said.
"It came about because the community were contacting us about how they could help so we thought instead of asking for donations that we'd do this.
"We are going to get past this and we are excited to see everyone again."
And if you're wondering about new additions at the park?
Well, Mr Staples said zookeepers have spotted little joey heads sneaking out of mother kangaroo pouches.
And there could be more new additions in the coming months.
