Chamber president Shane Hamilton, of SJH Communications, said the chamber was urging people to shop and buy local where they can.
"We need to rally and support local ... We are quick to jump on eBay or Uber Eats but that skims past our local economy," he said.
"Everything is up in the air at the moment so we need to make the best out of what we've got.
"So take a couple extra minutes to source out local businesses who have reinvented themselves or pivoted."

Mr Hamilton added the business chamber was also working on a support local program with Maitland City Council.
Last month, Maitland City Council approved a motion to reinstate the provision of financial assistance for struggling businesses and residents impacted by COVID-19.
In April 2020, response to the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Maitland Council passed a number of resolutions endorsing actions in relation to debt recovery, rental relief and suspension of interest on outstanding rates as well as supporting the food assistance network.
