Maitland was up against fierce competition with 73 clubs from all over the country participating and a record number of 1460 images entered.
The Australian Cup photography competition is an opportunity for photographers and clubs across Australia to showcase their skills on the national stage.
Maitland's own Peter Ryan was successful in the individual awards, taking home the Silver Award with his image Bee Eater with Dragonfly.

The club's success on the national stage is a reflection of its developmental program, focusing on developing the skills of their 56 members.
The winning entry included 20 images representing the work of 13 club members, covering portraits and landscapes to wildlife photography.
Maitland Camera Club meets at Kurri Kurri Bowling Club on the first, second and third Tuesdays of the month, and hold monthly competitions on the first Tuesday.
