The care packs are made up of basic staples including breakfast condiments, eggs, milk, tea, coffee, soap, tissues, hand sanitiser, kitchen wipes, deodorant, toothpaste, vegemite, toilet paper and milo.
Maitland Riverside Plaza Centre Management, Ben Robinson said the care packs are a way for our retailers to come together and support our community during this challenging time.
"We know our community is suffering right now, with many families being impacted by the government restrictions and vulnerable groups unable to leave their homes," Mr Robinson said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We've worked with our retailers to find a way to deliver these essential items straight to our communities in need, and we will continue to deliver these care packs to homes across Maitland throughout September.
"If our community can't visit us then we'll bring the centre to them.
"This is only a small gesture from our family to yours but something we felt we needed to do to ensure we continued to support the Maitland community who have always supported us."
Maitland Riverside Plaza care pack initiatives have been made possible by the support of the incredible group of retailers and partners; ALDI, Kmart, Rivershop, King of the Pack, Big Scissors and Donut King.
