The open air movie nights, starting on October 29, at The Riverlink are part of the spring theme, Going Global.

Films, To the Ends of the Earth (Japan/Uzbekistan), Golden Voices (Russia/ Israel) and Two is a Family (France/United Kingdom) will be showing over separate Friday nights during October and November.

All films are rated M for mature audiences. Each night will begin with a performance related to the cultures and countries in the films, such as a Japanese martial arts demonstration by Newcastle Aikido, a poetry performance by Russian born Irina Frolova and French jazz by The Sempill Trio.

"We hope people will enjoy the films while also trying some of the great cuisines influenced by cultures from around the world that are available at The Levee," The Levee public programs officer David Graham said.

People need to bring their own chairs and under the NSW Government Reopening NSW roadmap and Public Health Orders, valid forms of evidence of double vaccination status or a medical exemption is required for entry from anyone over the age of 16.

There is a COVID Safety Plan with COVID Safe measures in place, QR Code check in and social distancing is required. The reservation is $5 per person which includes free popcorn and a choc top ice cream on the night.
