The teenage rising star is just back from a successful European speedway season.
Pearson was a member of the Danish Division 2 team Fjelsted that competed in the teams final at Slangerup.
He played a leading role in the team securing second place and taking the silver medal.
Consistent performances throughout the season saw Pearson gain a spot in the 2021 FIM World Under 16 Speedway Solo Title held in Germany where he finished sixth in the 16 rider field.
Pearson has already signed a three year contract in the new Under 24 Poland Speedway League with Unia Leszno Bulls as well as a two-year contract with Team Region Varde Elitesport in Denmark.
"It's great to be back at Kurri," said James' father Graham Pearson.
"This is where James got his start in speedway and we owe club president Peter Campton for his help.
"Having turned 16, James now steps up into the senior class and the challenges just get bigger."
Pearson is planning on entering state and national title events and with the Kurri Kurri Speedway Club hosting the 2021 NSW Under 21 Speedway Solo Championship in four weeks time, he is keen to make the most of race time.
The 2021/2022 summer season launch will feature senior and junior speedway solos, speedway sidecars, 50cc pee wees as well as open and intermediate outlaw karts.
A pre-program of events is scheduled to begin at 4.30pm for the junior divisions with the evening program set to begin at 7pm
