Shanks For Coming kick-started proceedings with a narrow win by a neck in the first before Panella went back-to-back courtesy of Sunny Town and Johnson Step in the fourth and fifth respectively.
Panella drives for Cessnock-based Clayton Harmey, who trains both Shanks For Coming and Johnson Step, while Sunny Town is prepared by Lily Hosking.
East Maitland's Hosking also had multiple success at Newcastle International Paceway with Peter Hedges getting Spirit Inside across the line in the third.
Louth Park driver Dan Morgan had a double via Miss Ciriello and Henwood.
Meanwhile, the Inter Dominion final was decided in controversial circumstances at Menangle on Saturday night with Boncel Benjamin awarded the title over Expensive Ego following a protest.
