Young gun Bronte Peel, inspirational skipper Sophie Stapleford and star signing Sophie Jones all scored in the first half and Lisa Cochrane completed the job with a late goal in the second half.
"Four goals from four different people again is a bit of depth that we are not just relying on one player," Magpies coach David Walker said.

"It was fairly hot conditions and that probably took its toll more in the second half, but the girls certainly set themselves up well in the first half just with constant pressure creating plenty of goal scoring opportunities.
."We got a bit of a run with three goals in quick succession.
"It reflected what we have talked about possession, fast ball movement and dominant attack and for the most part that was exactly what we did.
"It was a good step for us to kick the season off with a positive and keep that momentum going and keep building our form."
The Magpies enter a testing period starting with Sunday's away clash against Newcastle Olympic who will be smarting after a 4-1 loss to Charlestown Azzuri, followed by a Friday night showdown against last season's premier Broadmeadow Magic who started 2022 with a 5-2 win against Adamstown.
"This is a fairly challenging week with Olympic on Sunday and the short turnaround with Broadmeadow on Friday night," Walker said.
"This week will be normal preparation but the following week we have two games within five days more or less so we will need to adjust.
"Newcastle Olympic are a strong club and they will certainly want to rebound from that, but likewise we want to continue our momentum."
It was a benchmark weekend for the Magpies will all of their women's teams from 13s to first grade all winning in the same round for the first time and in the men's program there was just one loss and a draw.
