
Brodie Jones will start in his first game of the season when the Newcastle Knights take on the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks on Friday.
Jones was named in Newcastle's 24-man squad on Tuesday to play back row in the round-four clash at PointsBet Stadium.

The 23-year-old, who played 22 games last year, hasn't featured for the Knights in 2022, including in pre-season trials, due to a niggling thigh injury.
The Cessnock junior was named to take on Penirth last weekend but was withdrawn after contracting COVID.
Sauaso Sue will also make his first appearance of the year against the Sharks after being included on the interchange bench. The 29-year-old returns after off-season shoulder surgery.
Kalyn Ponga was named as expected to wear the No.1 jersey after being a late withdrawal from his side's last two games with a knee injury sustained in round one.
