The Maitland Magpies will look to bounce back from Saturday's 3-1 loss to Broadmeadow Magic when they take on Newcastle University in the Australia Cup at Cooks Square Park from 7pm today.

Tonight's feature game, in round four of what was previously know as the FFA Cup, will be preceded by action from some of the the Magpies JDL boys and girls teams from 5pm.
The Magpies were outclassed on Saturday and were on the back foot from the opening minute with Jacob Dowse scoring 40 seconds in.
Magic doubled their lead in the 10th minute through Jarred Baker and went into the break 2-0 leaders.
The match was sealed at the 60th minute mark when Bailey Wells scored a third.
Lachie Webb got a consolation goal for the Magpies in the 72nd minute.
Magpies assistant coach Gavin Wolfe said the Magpies were simply beaten by a better team and would need to improve if they are going to compete against the top sides again in 2022.
"Magic got out of the blocks super quick and from there it was a bit of a struggle for us, unfortunately," Wolfe said.
"They scored a couple of good goals in the first half and really dominated us in the midfield.
"We need to look at ourselves and see whether we are a top two side.
"Up until now we haven't really played any of the top four sides to be honest. On Sunday we came up against one of those top four teams and we were found wanting.
"We need to reset, do a lot of hard work and get back to the style of footy we want to play."
After Tuesday night's Australia Cup fixture, the Magpies face top of the table Charlestown Azzurri who are coming off a 2-1 win against Adamstown on Anzac Day.
