There will be 19 polling places open across Maitland, open from 8am to 6pm.
The Australian Electoral Commission has reported nearly six million people have already voted by pre-poll or applied for a postal vote across the nation.

- Rutherford Technology High School, 30 Avery Street, Rutherford.
- East Maitland Public School, 32 William Street, East Maitland.
- Playtime Preschool Rutherford, 75 Regiment Road, Rutherford.
- Story House Early Learning Centre, 10 McKeachie Drive, Aberglasslyn.
- Maitland High School, 32 High Street, East Maitland.
- Living Hope Maitland Church of Christ, 1 Garnett Road, East Maitland.
- Tenambit Public School, 13 Edward Street, Tenambit.
- Ashtonfield Public School, 3 Norfolk Street, Ashtonfield.

Pre-polling places are still open on Thursday and Friday for those unable to vote on Saturday.
