Edge stopped the clock at 51 minutes and 42 seconds, narrowly outside the personal best time he posted in January.
On that occasion Edge set a mark of 51 minutes and 10 seconds, which was believed to be the second fastest time in club history behind 2012 Olympic hopeful Brendan Sexton from when he was living in the area and competing at the club.
Edge beat Scott Weavers and Kelly Ford to Sunday’s prize over the Maitland Park course – 450 metre swim, 18 kilometre ride and 4km run.
But it was Craig Shafer who won the overall point score for the open men’s division in season 2011-2012.
Issac Daly comfortably won the intermediate race.
About 120 junior and senior competitors took part in the club’s last race of the season, which also doubled as a reunion.
The club’s presentation will be held on May 27, while the annual general meeting will follow on July 10.
