The three-day festival, which ran from Friday afternoon to Sunday night, featured Australian acts
including Bob Corbett, Russell Morris and Brian Cadd, Adam Harvey, McAlister Kemp, Aleyce Simmonds and Amber Lawrence.
Rising Australian country music star Jasmine Rae joined Adam Brand on stage for a duet.
American acts included Chris Young, Big & Rich and The Band Perry.
Nashville’s Love and Theft were also to appear at CMC, but had to withdraw because of a family emergency.
In a coup for the local country scene, Hunter artist Morgan Evans walked away with the gong for New Oz Artist of the Year at the CMC Music Awards at Pokolbin on Friday night.
Evans is preparing to release his debut album.
