His father, Jonathon Manley, launched a public appeal for information on the whereabouts of the 21-year-old on Monday, as the search approached its seventh week.
Central Hunter Crime Manager Detective Inspector John Zdrilic said detectives received a good response from the community since Mr Manley spoke publicly on Monday.
“We are encouraging more people to come forward if they have any information or have seen Pip since November 21,” Inspector Zdrilic said. “We are eager to know what his movements are.
“We just want information.”
He said anyone with information who feared prosecution for not speaking with police earlier, or who were involved in Pip’s disappearance, should still come forward or anonymously report information to Crime Stoppers.
Pip was last seen on November 21 last year, when his mother dropped him at Telarah train station to meet a friend.
There has been no activity on his mobile phone, bank accounts or social media pages since.
Mr Manley said on Monday that the disappearance was out of Pip’s character and there were no warning signs in the lead-up to November 21.
Mr Manley is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall with a thin build, fair complexion, brown hair with long blond tips and green eyes.
He has a piercing in his left eyebrow.
Anyone with who has seen Pip since his disappearance or has information about his whereabouts should contact Maitland detectives on 4934 0200 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
