Watson was selected in Australian women’s rugby union World Cup squad ahead of the international tournament being held in France next year.
She was a member of the Wallaroos at the last World Cup.
This followed selection in the NSW rugby league squad earlier in 2013.
Her huge impact on both codes is all the more amazing as she came to rugby league less than two years after taking up the sport with the Maitland Pickers women.
