On NRL season eve the new uniform, featuring the autographs of Kurt Gidley and Willie Mason, joins a 55’ LG smart television from The Good Guys and a Coast To Coast Golden Roast catered function for 30 people.
The bids, which will be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation, stand at $750 (television), $350 (catered function) and $155.50 (jersey) on the Maitland Mercury website.
The auction will continue online until 3pm on Friday, with those attending the awards ceremony that night at the Maitland Town Hall able to outbid the leading online attempts.
Luke Anderson from PRD nationwide, one of the event’s major sponsors, will conduct the auction on March 7.
Also on the evening Knights premiership winner Mark Hughes will be the guest speaker with the 1997 Maitland Sportsperson of the Year helping to mark the awards’ 50th anniversary.
Raffles and lucky door prizes will also take place with a ladies Guess watch from Bailey’s the Jewellers and Hunter Valley Gardens family passes in the mix.
Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
Tickets are available at event sponsor Maitland City Bowls, Sports and Recreation Club.
