These defenceless, voiceless creatures are at the mercy of human beings.
They experience pain and fear, like all sentient beings.
That they should be subjected to this outrageous mistreatment is unacceptable to any humane and compassionate human being, and all of those responsible should be prosecuted.
Worst of all are the owners of the sheep and the employers of the shearers.
How can they not know that this cruelty is occurring?
But they turn a blind eye to it because all they care about is how much money they can make out of the exploitation of animals who have no defence against whatever barbaric treatment is inflicted on them.
