The three-piece went on hiatus for eight years before returning with a reformation tour in 2012.
This new run of dates will be The Tea Party's 14th Australian tour, where the band has always had a loyal following.
The shows, which includes a night at Newcastle Panthers, are in support of the band's new studio album The Ocean at the End - its first in 10 years.
"The writing for this record was as organic and honest as our first album," says drummer Jeff Burrows.
"Three friends in a room with one goal in common, to do what we do best.
"The result is The Ocean at the End.”
Tea Party frontman Jeff Martin has been living in Australia for many years and recently has been touring and collaborating with Superjesus vocalist Sarah McLeod.
The Superjesus will support The Tea Party on all dates.
The Tea Party and The Superjesus play Newcastle Panthers on Monday, October 20.
Tickets are on sale Friday through Moshtix.
