The Pink Jets battled schools from South Australia, Victoria and Queensland at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
“The Pink Jets’ performance was an amazing display of energy, teamwork, strength and flexibility,” Rutherford Public School aerobics co-ordinator Ainslie Ledwos said.
“I am incredibly proud of all of the girls’ determination and commitment throughout the year which resulted in this fantastic achievement.”
Friday’s silver medal marks the seventh year the Pink Jets have qualified for the nationals.
The Pink Jets have previously won gold three times.
The girls do many hours of training in the holidays, before school and in lunch breaks to be able to compete at such a high level.
