Maitland’s St John the Baptist scored 5-91 in reply to Telarah’s 8-90 while in the other semi-final St Joseph’s at East Maitland outscored Seaham 7-126 to 84.
The Reg Kelly Shield final will be played at Robins Oval on December 8.
In other junior cricket news, Maitland’s three representative teams – under 12s, under 14s and under 16s – will be in action this Sunday hosting sides from the Upper Hunter.
Elsewhere, Tenambit Morpeth’s Elliott Penglaze was the shining light in an outright loss to Western Suburbs scoring 126 on day two of their round four encounter in the under-16 competition.
The Plovers’ Glyn Hayes finished with figures of 5-8 from six overs.
