The demand has prompted promoters Live Nation to lock in a second Hope Estate show on Sunday, November 15.
Tickets to both shows go on sale to the general public on April 1 at 10am through Livenation and Ticketmaster.
Fleetwood Mac's On With The Show tour sees the return of keyboardist and vocalist Christine McVie, who departed the group 16 years ago.
So this will be the first time the band has toured as a five piece - including drummer Mick Fleetwood, bassist John McVie, guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and singer Stevie Nicks - since 1998, and their first Australian tour since 2009.
The band were to return in 2013, and had sold out Australian shows including the Hunter, when John McVie was diagnosed with cancer.
With McVie's clean bill of health Fleetwood Mac, who have sold over 100 million records, have returned to the road.
Fleetwood Mac's very long list of hits includes The Chain, Dreams, Second Hand News, Rhiannon, Sara, Gold Dust Woman, Tusk, Looking Out for Love, Don’t Stop, and Go Your Own Way.
There is also a new Fleetwood Mac album in the works, with Buckingham revealing last year that the group had finished eight songs - so expect some new tunes when the band tours in November.
It would be Fleetwood Mac's first new album since 2003's Say You Will.
