The 27-year-old from Aberglasslyn claimed his fifth Hattah Desert Race in Victoria on the weekend after clinching his fourth Finke Desert Race in the Northern Territory last month.
The victorious double followed similar efforts by the endurance motorcycle rider 12 months ago and previously in 2010 and 2012.
His latest win, finishing three minutes ahead of KTM teammate Tye Simmonds, ensures he not only remains undefeated at Hattah, but with five triumphs equals the event record.
“Another win today at ?#?Hattah15 and I’m so stoked!” Price posted on social media.
“It was a good run for me. After winning the prologue yesterday we started off from the front and I think that definitely helped.
“The dust was thicker in the first part of the race before the track chewed and exposed a little bit of moisture in the sandy parts.
“In the first couple of laps I put on a really good charge and pulled a bit of a gap, and after that I settled into a comfortable pace and felt really good.
“The entire KTM Racing team done an amazing job and I can’t thank them enough!”
Price also leads the Australian Off Road Endurance Championships in his bid for an unprecedented fifth crown.
He is 42 points clear of nearest rival Josh Green after a mid-season winning streak of five straight rounds, including last month in Queensland.
Competition continues later this month with a double header at Kyogle on July 25 and 26, followed by Monkerai in August (15-16).
Price has then declined a chance to represent Australia again at the International Six Day Enduro to concentrate on his preparations for next year’s Dakar Rally in South America.
He finished third on debut at Dakar in January.
