The nine-tries-to-six elimination semi-final win keeps the Warriors premiership aspirations alive in
C-grade and ends the 2015 season for the Hawks.
Matthew Martin was the star for the Warriors at Raymond Terrace on Saturday. He scored 24 points, including two ties and eight goals, and Jye Delaney also crossed for a double.
Mitch Wade, Justin Ridley, Brett Forrest, Trent Papa and Shaun Skuthorpe were the other try scorers for Woodberry.
For the Hawks it was Tim Fitzpatrick, Mark Walters, Nathan Robertson, Mathew Brady, Shannon Harmey and Ryan Levin, who got across the stripe.
Craig Benson landed five goals.
Woodberry now advances to the minor semi-final against Morisset, who were beaten 34-14 by Fingal Bay in the qualifying semi-final.
Fingal Bay will now have a crack at the decider when they meet Paterson, who enjoyed the weekend off as minor premiers.
In D-grade, the Clarence Town Cobras have earned a crack at minor premiers Kotara this weekend following a 44-20 triumph against Gloucester.
Jack Alison, Mitchell Maytom, Rob Elliott, Ben Bradley, James Foot, Cayle Middleton, James Melville and Jarod Rits all ran in tries for the Cobras.
Phil Badior kicked six goals in the qualifying semi-final triumph.
If the Cobras can repeat the dose at Lakeside Sporting Complex this Saturday they will book a spot in the grand final.
And in B-grade the East Maitland Griffins were knocked out by Wallsend Maryland following a 29-26 loss in the elimination semi-final.
Doubles to both Barry Wells and Wayne Saunders wasn’t enough for the Griffins to stay alive.
