Daniel and William will don the new blue and gold colours of the merged club, who return to the field for the first time in quite a while.
Club president, under 10s coach and father of the brothers Stuart Craig said it was good to see the sport revived in the area.
“I’m not sure how long it has been since Gresford had a cricket team but I believe it has been a while so it’s awesome to see,” he said.
“We have kids coming to us from Dungog, Wallarobba and Paterson as well because there are fewer teams around here these days.”
The club colours have been taken from the gold of Gresford and blue of Vacy.
The name stems from an 1852 scorecard involving the Vacy Colts and nearby Summer Hill.
In 2015-2016, there are 22 registered Gresford Vacy players and another 30 involved in the club’s MILO program.
This Saturday the Colts under 10s play away at McKeachie’s Run against Western Suburbs.
The under 12s open their season at Gresford Showground against Northern Suburbs.
They will be more than 600 players spread across 59 teams in Maitland and District Junior Cricket Association competitions this summer.
Junior matches are scheduled to start at 8.30am.
