They claimed victory in two-day matches played on Saturday and Sunday, which included centuries to Matt Trappel and Giles Manley.

WESTERN SUBURBS v EASTERN SUBURBS
Western Suburbs fell narrowly short of the first outright result of the 2015-2016 season.
The Plovers needed just two more wickets at Coronation Oval to clinch maximum points against Eastern Suburbs, but the Griffins were able to hold on.
Easts finished 8-119 off 39 overs after being dismissed for 98 in their first innings.
They had been 1-25 overnight in reply to Wests’ first day total of 9(dec)-401.
Plovers skipper Andrew Trappel (78), Tom Irwin (70), Luke Merchant (67) and Blake Walmsley (64) all notched up half centuries to set up the first innings win.
Wests opening bowler Mitch Fisher took seven wickets across both innings.
For the Griffins No.11 Chad Pulsar scored 28 and Cody Little made 26 second time around.
Easts have yet to register a win this campaign while Wests remain undefeated.
KURRI WESTON v CITY UNITED
A century to City captain Matt Trappel has helped the competition front runners to a 30-run win against Kurri Weston.
Trappel scored 119, including 11 fours and three sixes, at Kurri Central to guide the visitors to a score of 6-298 from their 80 available overs. Anru Kriel also chipped in with 60 for City.
Kurri Weston all-rounder Steve Abel picked up four wickets.
In reply Kurri Weston went close to the target, but were dismissed with seven overs to spare.
Jake Gordon laced his second successive half-century with an impressive 91 and Michael Heinrich made 69.
City left-arm orthodox spinner Nick Bower finished with 5-80 off 23.3 overs after being 0-48 after four overs, including a maiden.
City have now two from two. Kurri Weston have missed out on both occasions.
THORNTON v RAYMOND TERRACE
Giles Manley made a memorable return to the Maitland first grade competition on the weekend, scoring a century in a Raymond Terrace victory.
After having the bye last weekend the Lions defeated Thornton by 118 runs at Thornton No.1 after Manley made an even 100.
Manley, who had last season off, opened the batting and helped set up the visitors first day total of 9-280 along with Luke Maher (56).
Thornton were then dismissed for 162 in reply from 67.4 overs.
New Lions off-spinner Jacob McCormick, who hails from Denman, took 4-37 and Aaron Sheritt finished with 3-14.
The day before Rick Mace clinched four wickets for Thornton, Matt Thompson three and Chris Archer two.
Both clubs have recorded one win so far this season.
