Maitland’s men have been asked to make a pledge to challenge behaviours and attitudes that lead to domestic and family violence.
Maitland City Council mayor Peter Blackmore has made this promise:
“I pledge that I will not provide a reference for the courts for anybody who is on a charge of domestic violence or for attacking a woman."
