Field finished the match with 10-54 at Lorn Park on the weekend after securing his second hat-trick against the Lions in as many seasons.
The latest feat was achieved at the end of the first innings on Saturday with two leg-before decisions, followed by a clean bowled and figures of 7-9 off eight overs.
The Lions were dismissed for 96 inside 50 overs after being sent in to bat and Norths closed the day just shy of a first innings lead.
The hosts declared early on Sunday and Raymond Terrace were eventually all out for 128 with Field taking 3-45 off 12 overs.
This left Norths 123 runs to make in 30 overs and they reached the target three wickets down with 29 balls to spare.
Norths opener Mitch Saxby top scored with 63 and put on a 102-run second-wicket partnership with skipper Josh Callinan (41 not out) after they combined for a 66-run stand in the first innings.
The result puts Norths two points outside the top four with two rounds remaining in the regular season and Raymond Terrace (25) stay put in sixth.
Norths move to 35 with Thornton (37) just above them after a 139-run loss to front runners City United (50) in a limited overs fixture at Robins Oval on Sunday.
District leading wicket taker Nick Bower picked up another five scalps as Thornton were bundled out for 65 in reply to City’s 204, which included 80 to Kerryn Ball.
And over at East Maitland Park four half-centuries to Kurri Weston (43) batsman saw the visitors declare at 8-319 overnight against Eastern Suburbs but they were unable to secure maximum competition points on Sunday.
Jake Gordon (77), Josh Tuckwell (76), Michael Heinrich (63) and Casey Capper all raised the bat on Saturday, but the Griffins managed to hold on at East Maitland Park, finishing
3-69 in the second innings after being dismissed for 133 in the first dig.
Western Suburbs (42) had the bye and slip to third.
