2327 Bootcamp recently selected a Kurri Kurri family with a child suffering a rare disease to be the recipient of a $755 donation. Kody O’Brien has a rare form of Polymicrogyria – which causes life threatening seizures.
His mother Jenna is crowdfunding to pay for his expensive medical care. Bootcamp founder Jayme Richardson said the members of his business select the causes.
“The reason we donate is that we all take our health for granted,” he said.
So far the business has donated more than $3000 but they are aiming to donate more than $20,000.
