She is described by her handlers as sweet and affectionate and she has spent the past 195 days waiting for a home.
She’s been there so long that she takes time out from her spot in the shelter with the other dogs and spends a few hours laying in the office with RSPCA staff.
She’s been fostered for a bit, and was great with kids, and has even been on corporate visits to a bank.
RSPCA NSW regional manager Debbie Jaggers said everyone who met Addyson adored her personality, but no-one had decided she was the dog for them.
“When she went into the bank she laid down and everyone patted her – she loved it,” she said.
“She was there with two other dogs and she got on well with them.”
“It’s hard for her and she’s getting a bit frustrated about it all – she is only one year old.”
Addyson needs a lot of exercise and a secure backyard.
If you think she is the pet for you, visit the Hunter RSPCA shelter or phone them on 4939 1555.
