The solid brick construction is lime washed and has a steep pitched zincalume roof. The double hung four pane sash windows with timber shutters flanking the front door are in keeping with traditional Georgian presentation.
Inside, the style is crisp, clean and versatile. A light white palette for the walls, architraves and high, painted timber ceilings along with polished timber floors make this a blank canvas.
All the bedrooms are generously sized with ceiling fans. Two have fireplaces converted to gas and two have carpeted floors with built-ins. The modern bathroom of similarly large proportion is presented in a period style and includes a claw foot bath with overhead shower.
The open plan extension to the rear of the home is illuminated by natural light streaming in through French doors.
There is an emphasis on entertaining with a built-in bar opposite the central kitchen and an open fireplace that creates a warm ambience.
Split system air conditioning and a gas combustion fireplace provide year round comfort to this large, open living space. A sculptural black, steel spiral staircase links to the attic/fourth bedroom flowing to french doors opening onto the balcony.
Outside brick retaining walls divide the lower paved area from the level backyard lawns. Other features include a secluded pool and parking for four vehicles.
