The Probus Club of Morpeth on Hunter has organised a six-day coach trip to Bright in Victoria’s high county. LIBRARY LOVE

Move over St Valentine because February 14 is also Library Lovers’ Day. Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries will hold a morning tea from 10am, and Cessnock will also host the award winning crime fiction author Andrew Patterson at 11.30am. Library Lovers’ Day is part of a nationwide initiative to raise the profile of library services. 

WINE, THEATRE

There will be complimentary wine and cheese at Maitland Repertory Theatre’s opening night of Strangers on a Train on February 15. Book at www.maitlandtheatre.org or call 4931 2800. 

DAY OF PRAYER

Join us for the combined Rutherford-Telarah churches World Day of Prayer Service on Friday, March 3 at 7.30pm in the Living Light Wesleyan Methodist Church, 34-36 Dunkley Street, Rutherford. Supper provided.

SENIORS MEET
