Kurri Kurri cyclist Clyde Marshall was taking his morning cycle through the economic estate at about 9am on Tuesday when he came across the waste at a roundabout.

“I was riding through yesterday morning and there was nothing there, so it must have been dumped overnight,” he said.
Mr Marshall said pipes and what looked to be crushed masonite or asbestos sat in large piles that looked as if a house or building had been demolished.
“There’s a lot of white stuff in it, it looks like asbestos to me,” he said. The Regional Illegal Dumping squad is investigating.
