The trio from Sydney’s northern beaches will kick off in D'Arcy's Bar from 9pm.
Drummer Andy Thor said punters could expect a set featuring a swag of original tunes mixed in with a range of classic covers “that don’t usually get a run in most bands’ sets”.
He said The Hollerin Sluggers’ shows were dynamic and could often explode into improvisation.
“If you haven’t seen the Sluggers live, you are in for a treat,” he said.
The band’s debut offering, The Promised Land, entered the AMRAP and Australian Blues n Roots Radio Airplay charts after its release in March 2016.
Their new album Gypsy Mojo was released in February.
According to the band’s official bio, “the sluggers’ combined experience of Owen Mancell on guitars/vocals, Tim Cramer on bass/vocals and Andy Thor on drums/harmonica shine through to deliver a foot-stomping and hip-shaking, heart-pumping show that captures the crowd’s attention.”
