PRINCESS PROTEST
I was disappointed to hear the outcome of the court case in relation to the alleged cruelty and torture of beautiful Princess the cat in May 2016. The accused was found not guilty of this very serious offence and was not required to pay for the cat’s vet bills or 24-hour care required due to her severe injuries and paralysis.

Good on you Ms Walton for your protest. We need more caring people like you in this world. Keep up all the wonderful work you all do at the Animal Rescue in Weston.

Metaphorically speaking, our system of everyday life can be compared to a mechanism (engine, gear box type) with different sized wheels, which engage with one another to start and keep the mechanism going.
As most people would know, if the mentioned mechanism is correctly assembled and properly maintained, it will work well in perfect harmony until the parts wear out.
Unfortunately the mechanical system doesn't work the same way with humans because of disharmony. The divisions that occur because of the inequalities which are created by human beings’ attitudes of wanting always more.
Having people that earn $1500-$2000 per week and then others that only earn $600-700 doesn't seem very fair.
It would not be so bad if the disparity in earnings would be taken in account by some form of discount at least for the necessities of life on producing evidence of such low remuneration.
Despite what many people think, not everyone chooses a low-paid job because it is less physically demanding or because it's more convenient.
Some people might not even have the ability to perform certain tasks, however they're still human beings and they have the right to be treated the same as every other human!
The low-paid jobs still need to be done. Failing that; would be like removing one of the wheels from the mechanism, in which case it would stop working correctly.
