East Maitland Netball Club will host a coaching clinic led by former Hunter Valley junior and current Greater Western Sydney player Sam Poolman.

Poolman, a rangy goal keeper or goal defender, plays for Greater Western Sydney in the National Netball League and was recently selected in Australia's "Fast Five" squad.
She’ll be stepping budding Hunter netballers through everything attack and defence related at the morning sessions.
The coaching clinic is for players of all levels and abilities and is open to players from all netball clubs around Maitland.
The clinic will be held on Sunday, August 27 at Maitland High School, with the first session running from 8.30-10am for players aged six to 11.
The second session will run from 10 to 11.30am for players aged 12 and above.
The cost is $30 and the clinic will include a sausage sizzle and drink for participants.
Places are limited to 22 players a sessions so players are encouraged to let their coaches or club officials know of their interest.
