DIARY NOTES: WHAT’S ON

Anglican Parish Telarah Rutherford will be holding a 'Blessing of the Pets Mass' on Sunday, September 24 from 10am to 11.30am. The service will be held in St Christopher's, corner of Verge and Gillies streets, Rutherford. All people and pets are welcome. Morning tea will be held afterwards and a raffle to benefit Urban Cat Rescue. Contact 0438 371700 for details.

CLOTHING SALE

There will be a women’s clothing sale in the hall at St Stephens Church, 69 Church Street, East Maitland on Saturday, September 23 from 10am to 3pm. New summer clothes available from sizes 8 to 24.

ETHIOPIA TALK

Tenambit-Morpeth Probus Club is a mixed club and we meet at East Maitland Bowling Club on the third Tuesday of each month at 9.30am. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 19. Our guest speaker will be talking about her travels in Ethiopia. Visitors and new members welcome. Contact Jenny on 49662837.

ORCHID DISPLAY

Maitland and Coalfields Orchid Society will hold an orchid display at Thornton Shopping Centre on Thursday and Friday, September 28-29 during shopping hours. There will be plants for sale and experts on hand to orchid offer advice. Inquiries to Tony 4932 7792.
