Soldiers Point kept their dream of winning the challenge alive by downing City in the singles and the pairs 5-0 in both games.
In the singles, Soldiers Point, the home side, won the first set 11 to 6 and the second 14 to 0.
Soldiers Point kept their form in the pairs, winning the first set 14 to 1 and the second set 10 to 4.
The Point will now play next Monday against the winner of the Mayfield West Stars and the Beresfield Magpies.
The Stars, who finished the regular season in fourth, will host the Friday night clash against the Magpies.
Competition leaders Kurri Cannons and second-placed Raymond Terrace both enjoyed a week off.
Kurri will then be at home to Raymond Terrace on November 28 with the winner advancing straight to the grand final on December 8.
