Maitland Fire Station will hold theirs on Thursday, but the format is a bit different this year. Rather than driving around the streets, two trucks will visit various parks around the city where kids can meet Santa and enjoy the sweet treats.
Maitland Fire and Rescue deputy captain Mark Hardy said the team was very excited to put on the annual event.
“The guys enjoy getting out there,” he said. “It’s something they’re quite passionate about.”
