William Henry Baker formed up the firm in 1875 and still bears Baker’s name.
“I think having the breadth of staff and talent within the building allows us to service the majority of clients’ legal needs,” Bakers partner Dean Frith said.
The firm employs more than a dozen lawyers the partners, Mr Frith and Terry Morgan, believe that the practice is as much about serving customers as it is about interpreting the law.
“You have to go into the practice of law like it is any other service provider,” Mr Frith said.
“If you don’t do that, then I don’t think you will last very long.”
