Two hairdressers and a legal practice in Rutherford East Mall broken into in one night

Maitland police are appealing for help after three businesses in the Rutherford area were broken into in the one night.

Two hairdressers and a legal practice in the East Mall area were targeted sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Police said glass windows were smashed to gain entry at all three premises.

A small amount of cash was stolen at one of the hairdressers on Hillview Street, and nothing was reported missing from the other hairdressers.

Two laptops were taken from the legal practice.

Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
