Visitors and locals alike have been able to enjoy all the action, with the Great Train Race pitting two steam trains against a high-flying World War II era Tiger Moth, while the historic 3642 and The Garratt trains have been running journeys over both days joined by the popular Tin Hare and the Red Rattler diesels.
Also on show have been an array of traction and portable engines and antique machinery on the Rally Ground, as well as hundreds of cars on display at Sunday’s Show ‘n’ Shine in Maitland Park.
Entertainment across the weekend has included live music, kids’ activities, and more than 100 food and market stalls, meaning there’s been something for everyone.
