Strike Force Wondoba was created to investigate the disappearance of Mr Manley, a 21-old-year old man, who went missing from Bolwarra.
Pip was last seen about 1am on Friday, November 22, 2013, walking along Belmore Rd, Lorn, heading towards Bolwarra.
Investigations have established that his mobile phone, Facebook and bank accounts have not been accessed since the time he went missing.
Police asked the public for help early in January and Central Hunter Crime Manager Detective Inspector John Zdrilic said detectives received a good response from the community.
But his family and police have grave fears for his welfare, due to the amount of time he has been missing.
On Wednesday, January 29 police from Central Hunter Local Area Command will be conduct an extensive search of the Telarah and Bolwarra areas, including the searching of land, water ways and dams, around Lorn and Bolwarra.
The operation will include local and Northern Region Operation Support Group officers, PolAir, Water Police and Police divers.
Strike Force Wondoba investigators believe that members of the local Maitland community might have information that could assist in locating Mr Manley.
