Music critics have confirmed that the E Street Band are in fine form and, with The Boss at the helm, have been playing three-hour shows that feature a constantly changing set list and crowd requests.
Last night at Sydney's Allphones Arena, the legendary entertainer continued to send love letters to Australia artists.
Springsteen and the E Street Band opened with The Easybeats' Friday On My Mind and later covered INXS' Don't Change.
In Perth and Melbourne, Springsteen opened with AC/DC’s Highway To Hell.
Melbourne, however, had an extra special guest.
Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder walked out with the E Street Band at AAMI Park and sang on both openers – Highway To Hell and the classic Boss song Darkness on The Edge of Town.
The Saints' single Just Like Fire Would, which the Boss covers on new record High Hopes, has featured in every Australian show of this tour.
But Springsteen is also performing some of his classic records in their entirety.
Eight songs into his first night in Melbourne, Springsteen announced that the E Street Band would play his classic record Born In The USA from start to finish.
The following night, the band performed his record Born To Run.
Last night in Sydney it was the album Darkness On The Edge of Town.
Perhaps at Hope Estate on Saturday or Sunday night fans might get to hear Springsteen perform his 83-minute double album 1980's The River?
Or 1987's Tunnel Of Love?
Perhaps the E Street Band will excuse themselves from the stage for 40 minutes while the Boss plays all of 1982's Nebraska?
No matter what Springsteen has in store, you can be sure that his two nights at Hope Estate will be an overdose of electric guitar.
The Boss, capable of powerful solos on his world-weary Telecaster, is joined by E Street stalwarts Steve Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren.
Added to that mix is Van Zandt’s fill-in for last year’s Australian tour, Rage Against The Machine’s axe magician Tom Morello.
His solo in The Ghost of Old Tom Joad left jaws on the floor at last year’s Oz shows.
With Springsteen touring a new record called High Hopes and two shows booked this weekend at "Hope Estate", it seems the stars are aligning for one of the greatest nights of music the Hunter has ever seen.
Bring it on, Boss.
