Miles will take Borninastorm south this weekend for the $25,000 race with Weston’s Josh Osborn in the driver’s seat.
The brown gelding has placed second in three of its last five starts.
Borninastorm finished second in its heat at Newcastle a fortnight ago behind Millwood Liberty from Mark Callaghan’s Morriset stable.
The Where Horses Fly Country Series Final will also be run in race six while the group 3 Winter Cup is the feature event in race seven.
Racing starts at 5.20pm.
At Newcastle on Friday night, Keinbah trainer Shane Tritton returns from a stint at Albion Park with five starters as he continues his march to the Newcastle trainer premiership.
Deadly Mark, Just Julia, Her Ex and I, Real Star and Glasscutterspirit will all line up for Tritton with Lauren Panella on board.
Ellalong’s Michael Formosa also has a pair of runners with The Ultimate Legacy in the first and Ultimate Trump in race two while Millers Forrest trainer Clayton Harmey is also well represented.
