The Francis Greenway High School student raised more than $1000 last year selling cupcakes with her friends at Thornton Public School and, on October 12 this year netted more than $500 hosting a breakfast at her house.
Hannah said the Pink Ribbon cause was close to her heart with both her grandmothers having been diagnosed with the disease.
“I had some of my school friends, some of my family and some of mum’s work clients ... I cooked bacon and eggs,” she said.
Hannah said she plans to host her biggest drive next year, with the aim to surpass $1000 for cancer research.
Despite her ambition she remains humble about her efforts.
“It doesn’t make me feel special, I just feel happy that I can do something for the cause,” she said.
